Katie Cutting has committed to ski next year for Boston College on the women’s alpine team. Boston College is a Jesuit college with approximately 9,000 undergraduates. Their ski team an NCAA Division I program that competes in the
United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association. The BC women’s team recently placed third in Slalom this year at the US National Championships.
Katie has had an outstanding high school career, placing 1st in all but one high school race in the last two years. She has been named to the NVAC All-District team for four consecutive years, and was named BFP Athlete of the Week twice, and was the March nominee for the VSSA Athlete of the Year award in 2009. Katie is also an anchor on the Rice girls’ lacrosse team and on the back-to-back state championship field hockey teams.
